Steak Sandwich at SUP

Today me and mom ate at SUP, its on south virgina in midtown.  We like midtown.

The restraunt was made out of sheet,rock,and brown/yellow colored paint. The decarations were cool- they were pictures from Burning Man,  and there was a picture of a bowl of soup that said SUP.

I had the steak sandwich.  It was toasted with melted cheese and steak and came with a mild horseradish sause.  My dinner also came with salad, but I wasnt  a fan of the salad.  I also had BBQ chips, they were HOT but good!

Mom had grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup, she loved it. The grilled cheese was melty and goody goodness, and the tomato bisque was creamy and full of flavor.

I am giving SUP a 4 star  beacause the bread was over toasted but the steak was awesome!IMG_2378IMG_2379

Balloons and Doughboys

Donuts, personal, sweets, ,

this morning mom and I got up way to early and went to the Balloon races.  we had fun and saw some cool balloons. My favorite was Darth Vader.

After the balloon races we wanted donuts. We went to Doughboys (my favorite), there was a line out the door, but it was worth it.

I had the White wolf pack donut.I liked it because it had sprinkles and creamy icing.And it was sweet.

The restaurant was fun and lots of local sports decorations.  We sat in wooden chairs and enjoyed our donuts.

It was good while it still lasted, and it was a fun day. I give Doughboys 5 stars out of 5 stars.

MidTown Eats- Review

tonight my mom and I went to Midtown eats.  Its located in Mid-town Reno. (mom edit: a fun and up and coming area for locals).

i liked the restaurant! it was made out of brick, wooden tables and bright lights! i thought the restaurant was really interesting. It was really interesting because it had cool squares and rectangles.

mom and i ordered appitizer. we had mac n cheese! it was cheesy, creamy, kind of tasty and i liked the parmesan cheese on top. mom and i split it for an appetizer and there was just enough.

for dinner I ordered:  the BISON burger. It came with BBQ sauce/ applewood bacon/ white cheddar cheese/ and creamy mayo. I also had some sauce diped fries.

I liked the bison burger and fries the best because it was spicy and creamy. i least liked the mac n cheese because it needed more flavor.

I give Midtown eats a 4 out of 5 stars.  It was really good and I loved the bison burger and fries.

Mr. L has always been an incredibly creative and outgoing fellow.  He loves to watch the food network with me and really gets into cupcake wars/ beat bobby flay/ chopped and cutthroat kitchen.  We enjoy watching these shows together and we love going out to dinner once a week as a family tradition.  He has made several comments about wanting to do a food blog about our adventures together.  I said yes, and thus kidkritic was born.   For the posts I write-up a series of questions for him to answer about the dining experience, and then I let him have at it. The words/ spelling/ grammar and typing are his.  He is super excited to write about what he discovered and he promises me that he wont eat chicken nuggets at every place now…. he is “looking to try something new”.
